I am an addict to Gum.

I am addicted to gum. I chew it all day at work, when I run, when I'm at the gym, everywhere. I usually chew gum for an extended period of time also. Like 4-5 hours. Gross. I usually prefer a frosty or fresh tasting gum, nothing too crazy flavored. I want gum to be freshening my breath, which I think is it's intention. I am a really bad person and usually spit my gum out the window as well when I'm driving. Sometimes this is mildly entertaining for me as well. The other day I was driving home from work, and this happened.

I spit out my gum and it landed on my door. Totally missed the rolled down window. STUPID. I think what could even be more stupid is that I then took a picture of it.

How's that for a super amazing and exciting 200th post? Yup, I failed. ha ha.

Tomorrow I will have some new cool stuff to talk about, like my infected toenail that has not allowed me to wear shoes. I did get in a gorgeous, I wish I took pictures, run this weekend in San Luis though. I ran about 8.5 miles and felt good, minus the toe issue. Hopefully, and sadly, the toenail just needs to fall off and then I think that it will heal itself.

This week I will be posting my homemade training plan, what I think my goals will be for the San Fran 1/2 and of course, anything super exciting that happens to me that I think you all must know about immediately. I have a review to post as well. Maybe I'll even throw in some workouts, but tonight is a rest day and will include some great Bachleorette watching!

xoxo

I wish I could chew gum for an extended period of time but find that after 15 or 20 minutes I get bored and need more gum.

Oh...and I like all those funky flavours. Thanks for making me smile.

I am cracking up! I LOVE gum, chew it until my jaw hurts, and I'm bad about throwing it out the window, too. My kids have picked up on that habit (so bad, I know)...so, I've had gum never make it out of the car, like yours, land back inside the car, land on the outside of the car, land in my hair. You name it. Well, that's what happens when kids try to throw gum out of a car window. LOL!

Enjoying your blog! Happy running!

Too funny! My BFF and I are also long time gum chewers, as in we chew gum for sooooo long before we get rid of it. Weirdo gum chewers unite!

I am the SAME way with gum! I buy huge boxes of it at Costco and I always have multiple packs in my purse and in the car. I've definitely had adventures trying to throw it out the window, it just never goes well. LOL

This is quite possibly my favorite 200th post I have read yet! Can't explain it, but it's true. You rock.

Kind of on that same subject, and I stress KIND OF. My girlfriend tried to throw an apple core out of my window while I was driving a coupe of week ago and she ended up hitting my door. For the next week I found dried up "apple sauce" all over the inside of my truck!

BAAAAAAHAHAHAHA, I would totally do that. AND take a picture.

But dang, how do you chew gum for so long?? I usually spit it out in, like, 5 minutes.

SF! Yay!

I chew lots of gum too...or used to before Invisalign. My fave is cinnamin.

Funny that it landed there. Not so funny because I am usually the one who steps in the gum. It takes forever to clean it off my shoe.

Is it an ingrown toenail, or an infection under the nail? I just had the worst ingrown of my life and it kept me from running for a bit. If it's bad, you might need antibiotics. (I was a ballet dancer, and it was a part of the job then just like for running.) They can also do a minor procedure to prevent it from happening.

Haha on the gum, and haha on the picture OF the gum. :)

Gum gets so stale after about an hour! I don't know how you chew it for so long.

I'm watching the Bachelorette as we speak! So good.

I enjoy gum. For awhile. Then my jaws just get tired and the flavor wears off. And, I'm quite picky about my flavors. And by picky I mean, I prefer Peppermint, and that's it. Everything else just tastes weird to me. Nothing like classic Peppermint!

Hahha. I have a gum problem. But I can't chew it for that long. I could probably go through a pack a day. (but I limit myself)

I don't chew gum for two reasons: (1) I always want to swallow it, and (2) I can't chew gum and walk at the same time. Honestly! Athlete I'm not!

I turn into a 15 year old valley girl with the smacking and twirling and popping as soon as I start chewing gum. Not cute.
